This was a special treat on our way from Tarbert to Marivaig, as we passed through the Shiant islands. There were birds flying and swimming everywhere.

During our sails in Scotland, we have seen many of these north antlantic seabirds. They lead a predominantly aquatic lifestyle, only coming on land to breed.

The scenery is spectacular.
Although the name of the islands, pronounced in French, is not inviting at first.
En fait, comme les oiseaux volent aussi au-dessus du bateau, le risque au sens littéral est possible. Heureusement, nous avons reçu un petit poisson.
